Theresa has 29 years of educational content development experience. She has authored more than 300 titles and is a repeat recipient of the Par­ent's Choice Award for her development of educational games and kits. Theresa founded BrainWorx Studio, Inc., an educational publishing devel­opment company, with Mercedes Santos in 2000 where the two worked collaboratively to provide editorial, art creation, and graphic design ser­vices to produce full-scale educational programs for major publishers. Theresa specializes in Reading, ELA, Science, and Social Studies products for Grades Pre-K to 6. In addition, Theresa is an LGBTQ+ family advocate and diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant. She conducts staff training and workshops for companies on methods for being LGBTQ+ friendly, aware and inclusive in the workplace.
